The flow
How a gift becomes an award
- You give. Donations and golf tournament proceeds go into the fund. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
- The board reviews. A volunteer Scholarship Board of water professionals reviews every application received February 1 through March 31 and selects 6 recipients, two per region.
- Schools get paid. Academic awards of $750 are paid directly to the recipient's accredited school. Certification awards cover Operator Certification School tuition, manuals, and exam fees.
